# VTM Vending vs SandStar Ops

The clearest difference is update cadence: SandStar Ops at every 5 days against VTM Vending's monthly. SandStar Ops also leads on review sentiment (75% vs 57%). On price, rating, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

VTM Vending holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 4.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 12 and 7 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 57% of VTM Vending's written reviews are positive against 75% of SandStar Ops's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

VTM Vending ships an update monthly, SandStar Ops every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
