# ZDGame vs Gear Link

The clearest difference is review sentiment: ZDGame at 50% against Gear Link's 0%. ZDGame also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 6 weeks) and ratings volume (12 vs 3). Gear Link's advantage is rating (4.3 vs 2.4). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Gear Link holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 2.4. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 12 and 3 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of ZDGame's written reviews are positive against 0% of Gear Link's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

ZDGame ships an update every 3 weeks, Gear Link every 6 weeks. Both last shipped on October 28, 2026.
