# Lockdown vs TidyDrop

The clearest difference is update cadence: TidyDrop at every 4 days against Lockdown's monthly. TidyDrop also leads on iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Lockdown sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and TidyDrop sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Lockdown ships an update monthly, TidyDrop every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
