# Fullmode vs Game Maps IRL

The clearest difference is rating: Game Maps IRL at 4.6 against Fullmode's 4.0. Game Maps IRL also leads on ratings volume (30K vs 2) and chart position (#16 vs unranked). Fullmode's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 7) and review sentiment (50% vs 19%). On price, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Game Maps IRL sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days. Fullmode asks for nothing beyond the download.

Game Maps IRL holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Game Maps IRL has 30K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Fullmode's written reviews are positive against 19% of Game Maps IRL's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Fullmode ships an update monthly, Game Maps IRL every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
