# Clock Talk vs ClockChime

The clearest difference is update cadence: ClockChime at every 8 days against Clock Talk's every 3 weeks. ClockChime also leads on iOS requirement (15.6 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Clock Talk sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and ClockChime sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Clock Talk ships an update every 3 weeks, ClockChime every 8 days. Both last shipped on October 28, 2026.
