# MenLink vs Gaydar

The clearest difference is ads: MenLink at none against Gaydar's shown. MenLink also leads on update cadence (every 4 days vs every 3 weeks) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Gaydar's advantage is ratings volume (12 vs 1). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MenLink sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Gaydar sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MenLink holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Gaydar has 12 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

MenLink ships an update every 4 days, Gaydar every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
