# Keepers vs Silent Camera

The clearest difference is ads: Keepers at none against Silent Camera's shown. Keepers also leads on ratings volume (10 vs 2). Silent Camera's advantage is update cadence (monthly vs every 7 months) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 18.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Keepers sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Silent Camera sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Keepers against 5.0 for Silent Camera. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Keepers has 10 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Keepers ships an update every 7 months, Silent Camera monthly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
