# Locus GTD vs MindNote

The clearest difference is rating: MindNote at 5.0 against Locus GTD's 4.1. MindNote also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and device support (3 vs 1). Locus GTD's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 2 weeks). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Locus GTD sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.19 per 7 days and MindNote sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Locus GTD ships an update every 4 days, MindNote every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and September 23, 2026 respectively.
