# Locus GTD vs DOO

The clearest difference is rating: DOO at 5.0 against Locus GTD's 3.8. Locus GTD's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs fortnightly) and ratings volume (10 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Locus GTD sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.19 per 7 days and DOO sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

DOO holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Locus GTD has 10 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Locus GTD ships an update every 5 days, DOO fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
