# Language Learning vs Pishee

Language Learning and Pishee both sit at 4.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Pishee's written reviews are positive against 25% of Language Learning's. Pishee also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription). Language Learning's advantage is ratings volume (16K vs 9) and update cadence (every 6 days vs every 2 weeks). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Language Learning sells 15 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month and Pishee sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Pishee holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Language Learning has 16K ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 25% of Language Learning's written reviews are positive against 100% of Pishee's.

Language Learning ships an update every 6 days, Pishee every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
