# Fanfics vs Novel Weaver

The clearest difference is update cadence: Fanfics at every 4 days against Novel Weaver's fortnightly. Novel Weaver's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fanfics sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Novel Weaver sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Fanfics ships an update every 4 days, Novel Weaver fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and November 7, 2026 respectively.
