# Counter Pro vs ZZZ MDEditor

The clearest difference is update cadence: ZZZ MDEditor at every 3 weeks against Counter Pro's every 3 months. ZZZ MDEditor also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 18.5). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Counter Pro sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and ZZZ MDEditor sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Counter Pro ships an update every 3 months, ZZZ MDEditor every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
