# Chef Collect! vs Emberline

The clearest difference is update cadence: Emberline at daily against Chef Collect!'s every 2 weeks. Chef Collect!'s advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Chef Collect! sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Emberline sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Chef Collect! ships an update every 2 weeks, Emberline daily. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
