# LooRead vs BingeRead

LooRead and BingeRead both sit at 4.1 stars, but that hides the real split: 65% of LooRead's written reviews are positive against 0% of BingeRead's. LooRead also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (576 vs 3). BingeRead's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). Both are free to download. LooRead sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per 7 days and BingeRead sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: LooRead has 576 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.
