# LooRead vs RillStory

The clearest difference is review sentiment: LooRead at 65% against RillStory's 32%. RillStory's advantage is rating (4.5 vs 4.1). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. LooRead sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $24.99 per 7 days and RillStory sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $24.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

RillStory holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.1. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 581 and 443 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 65% of LooRead's written reviews are positive against 32% of RillStory's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
