# DSM vs edYOU

The clearest difference is update cadence: edYOU at fortnightly against DSM's every 2 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DSM sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and edYOU sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $49.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

DSM ships an update every 2 months, edYOU fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
