# FiveUp vs Project

The clearest difference is ads: FiveUp at none against Project's shown. FiveUp also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs every 15 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FiveUp sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Project sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FiveUp ships an update every 5 days, Project every 15 months. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
