# Bloomnote vs Tempus

The clearest difference is ads: Tempus at none against Bloomnote's shown. Tempus also leads on rating (4.7 vs 4.3). Bloomnote's advantage is iOS requirement (18.1 vs 26.2). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Bloomnote sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Tempus sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Tempus holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 22 and 61 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 83% of Bloomnote's written reviews are positive against 76% of Tempus's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Bloomnote ships an update weekly, Tempus every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
