# Bloomnote vs MindNote

The clearest difference is rating: MindNote at 5.0 against Bloomnote's 4.3. MindNote also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Bloomnote's advantage is ratings volume (22 vs 4). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Bloomnote sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and MindNote sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MindNote holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bloomnote has 22 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Bloomnote ships an update weekly, MindNote every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 17, 2026 and September 23, 2026 respectively.
