# MindMax vs Percivo

The clearest difference is ratings volume: MindMax at 1.6K against Percivo's 7. MindMax also leads on update cadence (weekly vs monthly) and chart position (#199 vs unranked). Percivo's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 83%). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MindMax sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $10.00 per month and Percivo sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for MindMax against 4.9 for Percivo. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MindMax has 1.6K ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 83% of MindMax's written reviews are positive against 100% of Percivo's.

MindMax ships an update weekly, Percivo monthly. The most recent releases landed on November 8, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
