# Loop vs Glimpse

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Glimpse at 380 against Loop's 23. Loop's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and update cadence (every 5 days vs every 2 weeks). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Loop sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Glimpse sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Loop holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Glimpse has 380 ratings behind it against 23, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 100% of Loop's written reviews are positive against 96% of Glimpse's.

Loop ships an update every 5 days, Glimpse every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
