# Dear Day vs Weatherly Diary

The clearest difference is update cadence: Weatherly Diary at every 2 days against Dear Day's fortnightly. Weatherly Diary also leads on device support (3 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Dear Day sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Weatherly Diary sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Dear Day ships an update fortnightly, Weatherly Diary every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
