# Live Earth Camera vs Prevate

The clearest difference is update cadence: Prevate at every 5 days against Live Earth Camera's monthly. Prevate also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Live Earth Camera sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days and Prevate sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Live Earth Camera ships an update monthly, Prevate every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
