# Notes Hive vs Notes+

The clearest difference is ads: Notes+ at none against Notes Hive's shown. Notes Hive's advantage is update cadence (every 2 months vs every 8 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Notes Hive sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Notes+ sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Notes Hive ships an update every 2 months, Notes+ every 8 months. Both last shipped on October 30, 2026.
