# Notes Hive vs Daily planner

The clearest difference is ads: Daily planner at none against Notes Hive's shown. Notes Hive's advantage is update cadence (every 2 months vs every 5 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Notes Hive sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Daily planner sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
