# Times vs Noto

The clearest difference is update cadence: Noto at every 2 days against Times's every 2 months. Times's advantage is iOS requirement (18.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Times sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Noto sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Times ships an update every 2 months, Noto every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
