# LingoTok vs Cappy

The clearest difference is monetization model: Cappy at freemium against LingoTok's subscription. Cappy also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.5). LingoTok's advantage is ratings volume (10K vs 3). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. LingoTok sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and Cappy sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Cappy holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: LingoTok has 10K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

LingoTok ships an update every 10 days, Cappy fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
