# Flip Clock vs RecordMark

Flip Clock and RecordMark both sit at 4.7 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of RecordMark's written reviews are positive against 71% of Flip Clock's. Flip Clock's advantage is ratings volume (27 vs 8) and iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Flip Clock sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and RecordMark sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Flip Clock holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 27 and 8 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 71% of Flip Clock's written reviews are positive against 100% of RecordMark's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
