# PromoKit vs ThrownAlarm

The clearest difference is update cadence: PromoKit at daily against ThrownAlarm's monthly. PromoKit also leads on iOS requirement (18.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PromoKit sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and ThrownAlarm sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PromoKit ships an update daily, ThrownAlarm monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
