# Zed's vs Dosy

The clearest difference is rating: Dosy at 5.0 against Zed's's 4.7. Dosy also leads on update cadence (every 10 days vs every 3 weeks). Zed's's advantage is ratings volume (49 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Dosy holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Zed's has 49 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Zed's ships an update every 3 weeks, Dosy every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
