# Metropolitan HD. vs ArtPro

The clearest difference is rating: ArtPro at 4.9 against Metropolitan HD.'s 4.7. ArtPro also leads on update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 3 months). Metropolitan HD.'s advantage is iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.0). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Metropolitan HD. sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and ArtPro sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $11.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ArtPro holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.7. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 12 and 32 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Metropolitan HD.'s written reviews are positive against 94% of ArtPro's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Metropolitan HD. ships an update every 3 months, ArtPro every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
