# Swing Coach vs Eagle

The clearest difference is update cadence: Eagle at every 2 days against Swing Coach's every 3 weeks. Swing Coach's advantage is review sentiment (91% vs 64%) and ratings volume (3.3K vs 74). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Swing Coach sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month and Eagle sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Swing Coach against 4.8 for Eagle. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Swing Coach has 3.3K ratings behind it against 74, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 91% of Swing Coach's written reviews are positive against 64% of Eagle's.

Swing Coach ships an update every 3 weeks, Eagle every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
