# FruitMod vs Square Race

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: FruitMod at none against Square Race's 4. FruitMod also leads on review sentiment (74% vs 57%) and ratings volume (1.5K vs 287). Square Race's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.4) and update cadence (every 5 days vs every 11 days). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Square Race sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. FruitMod asks for nothing beyond the download.

Square Race holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FruitMod has 1.5K ratings behind it against 287, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 74% of FruitMod's written reviews are positive against 57% of Square Race's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

FruitMod ships an update every 11 days, Square Race every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
