# Archon vs AnimalMatrix

The clearest difference is ads: AnimalMatrix at none against Archon's shown. Archon's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs weekly). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Archon sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and AnimalMatrix sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Archon ships an update every 2 days, AnimalMatrix weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
