# WeatherFront vs Solshield

The clearest difference is ratings volume: WeatherFront at 461 against Solshield's 3. WeatherFront also leads on chart position (#39 vs unranked) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17.0). Solshield's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. WeatherFront sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Solshield sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
