# btkbd vs Keypad

The clearest difference is rating: Keypad at 5.0 against btkbd's 3.9. Keypad also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 71%) and update cadence (weekly vs fortnightly). btkbd's advantage is monetization model (free vs freemium) and ratings volume (19 vs 6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. btkbd sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Keypad sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Keypad holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.9. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 19 and 6 respectively. Written reviews point the same way: 71% of btkbd's written reviews are positive against 100% of Keypad's.
