# GEMS vs AI Expo

The clearest difference is update cadence: AI Expo at every 4 days against GEMS's every 5 weeks. GEMS's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

GEMS ships an update every 5 weeks, AI Expo every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
