# Habit Tracker vs Evolve

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Evolve at 100% against Habit Tracker's 52%. Evolve also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Habit Tracker's advantage is ratings volume (846 vs 7) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Habit Tracker sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month and Evolve sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $49.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Evolve holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Habit Tracker has 846 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 52% of Habit Tracker's written reviews are positive against 100% of Evolve's.

Habit Tracker ships an update fortnightly, Evolve every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
