# TypeHelper vs Video Note

The clearest difference is update cadence: TypeHelper at every 10 days against Video Note's every 2 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TypeHelper sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Video Note sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

TypeHelper ships an update every 10 days, Video Note every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on September 27, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
