# iSEM Synthesizer vs Tera Pro

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: iSEM Synthesizer at none against Tera Pro's 6. Tera Pro's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 4.1) and update cadence (every 5 days vs every 5 months). On review sentiment, ratings volume, ads and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

iSEM Synthesizer costs $9.99 and Tera Pro $6.99 up front. Tera Pro sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. iSEM Synthesizer asks for nothing beyond the download.

Tera Pro holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.1. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 61 and 154 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 74% of iSEM Synthesizer's written reviews are positive against 69% of Tera Pro's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
