# FlameTamer vs CueTime

The clearest difference is monetization model: FlameTamer at free against CueTime's freemium. CueTime's advantage is update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 4 months) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, rating, review sentiment and ratings volume there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FlameTamer sells 11 one-off in-app purchases and CueTime sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for FlameTamer against 5.0 for CueTime. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 5 and 3 respectively. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

FlameTamer ships an update every 4 months, CueTime every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 23, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
