# Imec vs Adpat

The clearest difference is update cadence: Adpat at every 5 days against Imec's every 7 months. Adpat also leads on iOS requirement (14.0.0 vs 16.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Imec ships an update every 7 months, Adpat every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and September 16, 2026 respectively.
