# Preserve™ vs Apple Games

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Apple Games at none against Preserve™'s 5. Apple Games also leads on ratings volume (80K vs 1.2K). Preserve™'s advantage is update cadence (daily vs every 4 weeks) and iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Preserve™ sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Apple Games asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Preserve™ against 4.6 for Apple Games. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Apple Games has 80K ratings behind it against 1.2K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 70% of Preserve™'s written reviews are positive against 68% of Apple Games's.

Preserve™ ships an update daily, Apple Games every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and November 1, 2026 respectively.
