# Bagpipe Sim vs Easy Flute

The clearest difference is rating: Easy Flute at 5.0 against Bagpipe Sim's 4.7. Easy Flute also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). Bagpipe Sim's advantage is ratings volume (12 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Bagpipe Sim sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Easy Flute sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Easy Flute holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bagpipe Sim has 12 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Bagpipe Sim ships an update every 2 months, Easy Flute every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
