# HSpeakRec vs Lyst.

The clearest difference is update cadence: Lyst. at every 4 days against HSpeakRec's every 2 weeks. HSpeakRec's advantage is iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. HSpeakRec sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Lyst. sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

HSpeakRec ships an update every 2 weeks, Lyst. every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
