# edge talk vs MeetScribe

The clearest difference is update cadence: MeetScribe at every 3 weeks against edge talk's every 2 months. MeetScribe also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. edge talk sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month and MeetScribe sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

edge talk ships an update every 2 months, MeetScribe every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
