# PAN! vs MIT App

The clearest difference is update cadence: MIT App at every 9 days against PAN!'s every 5 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PAN! sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and MIT App sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PAN! ships an update every 5 weeks, MIT App every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
