# TextBehind Pro vs ZAP CAM

The clearest difference is rating: ZAP CAM at 4.5 against TextBehind Pro's 3.7. ZAP CAM also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs every 3 months). TextBehind Pro's advantage is review sentiment (73% vs 50%) and ratings volume (13 vs 4). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TextBehind Pro sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and ZAP CAM sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ZAP CAM holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.7. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 13 and 4 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 73% of TextBehind Pro's written reviews are positive against 50% of ZAP CAM's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

TextBehind Pro ships an update every 3 months, ZAP CAM every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
