# Alta Guide vs Mind Shot Golf

The clearest difference is update cadence: Mind Shot Golf at every 4 days against Alta Guide's every 6 weeks. Mind Shot Golf also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Alta Guide's advantage is ratings volume (6 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Alta Guide sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per year and Mind Shot Golf sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
