# AIFastPPT vs Slides

The clearest difference is monetization model: Slides at free against AIFastPPT's subscription. AIFastPPT's advantage is review sentiment (97% vs 67%) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 weeks). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AIFastPPT sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $8.00 per month and Slides sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for AIFastPPT against 4.7 for Slides. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AIFastPPT has 149 ratings behind it against 28, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 97% of AIFastPPT's written reviews are positive against 67% of Slides's.

AIFastPPT ships an update fortnightly, Slides every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
